I had a driver for 3 months who helped me out with the school run when I couldn't drive. He doesn't have his own car, so you would have to provide him with one (which worked for us as i couldn't drive anyway). He lives in Satwa and is on his own visa. Ideally he would want a permanent position, but I am sure he would be happy with a stop gap few months also. He was extremely reliable, knew the roads and pretty good English. KelsBels after this weekend you can HAVE DS1 AND DS2!!! ;) I had thought about the taxi option - but like you say, if they're running late... If I can't find anyone (surely this is a fab idea for a business!!!) I'm going to get D to do one or two runs during the week for me in a taxi and she can take a carseat with... I think I'd want D to accompany DS anyway on the trips (safety etc). The cost will work out and I can have at least one nap during the week. Not ideal but it will help...

Meals, I know someone who has a taxi drivers mobile number. She uses him all the time. Not sure what you'd do regarding car chairs though and what if he's held up and unable to collect DS from school??? Think you'd Be better off getting someone more reliable, so probably not my best idea. Ok, what about letting us adopt DS1 during the weeks for the next few months? ;-)
