I deposited money in the Emirates NBD Atm into my liv account. And then suddenly a message pops up saying "Cash deposit was not processed due to a technical issue" and asked me to enter my phone number and soon as I did, the machine went "out of service". It didn't give me any Bill or a reference number. and the machine ate my money.

I contacted Emirates NBD, but said, they can't do anything in liv is whole other entity and asked me to contact liv. After a whole day of trying to get in touch with liv customer care. Finally, they took my complaint and told me it will be resolved within 9 days.

So my questions are, Did this ever happen to any liv account users? If yes, Does it resolve in the 9 working days or take longer or do we never get it back? And do they refund the exact amount? And is there a quicker way to get my money back?

I had a nearly similar issue with depositing in Liv through an Emirates NBD ATM, but it was for my salary cheque. The cheque wasn't processed and it suddenly went missing. It took nearly 4 weeks from the time of me filing a complaint through Liv's stupid and useless bot Olivia to finally get a resolution from them, but here's my advice when dealing with Liv's utterly frustrating customer service: ALWAYS ask for a human. Push and push or they'll keep you hanging in the dark. Keep a photo of the very same ATM that ate your money and remember exactly how much money it took - there should be a way for them to realise that there's an error in how much money there is inside the ATM. It took 3 weeks for an actual human being from Liv to finally contact me about my issue, and then another week for my cheque to return to me. Good luck!!
