Epilepsy support in Dubai
Hi all,
My DS (4 years) had a seizure last week for the first time, and we are thick in the middle of tests and meeting a host of neurologists, to try and understand what is going on in his little head and what we can do. Needless to say that we are devastated and feeling quite helpless. I know he's not, but it feels like he's the only child in the world who has gone through this.
It would help us greatly to talk to other parents who are dealing with this successfully, to know that life will be OK. But more than anything, who can give us insights and feedback that will help us deal with life and living in Dubai, should we find ourselves in that position. I've looked and looked and it appears that there are no support groups in Dubai. Does anyone know of any? I would be very grateful.
