Ramadan is very near...I have already started counting the number of days for Ramadan. In all places, Ramadan is followed with great attention and detail. Ramadan means a month of learning patience, giving and relishing delicious food. I started collecting a list of recipes that need to be prepared during the Ramadan period. My husband loves to have different varieties of Ramadan desserts. So other than the usual sweet dishes like Kunafa, Umm- Ali, Basbous, Mafruka I got some collection of new Ramadan desserts recipes and sweet varieties from some online dessert sites like Nestle Desserts Arabia and many other.

I love Ramadan here!! It's the best time of the year because it's quiet, a lot of people escape the country so when they do everything's just a lot more calm and a lot less rushed... Except the drive home mid-afternoon when all fasting Muslims leave work to rush home. Saying that, it's still a lovely time of the year in the city
