I thought that feature is only used on iphones? yep you cant use it on a BB its only available on the Iphone.

There is something called Foursquare (or 4square). I have seen friends on fb checking in using that app. Cannot confirm if it was through BB though.

It looks like you use the 'Places' icon at the top left of the screen? Mine doesn't seem to be working though! FB on a BB is pretty rubbish compared to an iphone :(
