We drove down on the offchance, and for a Dubai event, it was incredibly well organised, from the parking to the super opening ceremony - an hour and a half of fireworks, acrobatic displays (plane was covered on one side with lights) and cirque-de-soleil type entertainers. Superb free evening out!

Ah ok! Any idea if they will be on tmrw as well? No they won't be on tomorrow - they were for the opening ceremony. There will be some for the closing ceremony on the 16th.

I hope so!! We couldn't see them from our balcony and couldn't leave as our baby is fast asleep. They sounded really good! I'll be out waiting for them tomorrow so I hope they are on again as its the finals.
