It's not quite at The Atlantis, but its definetly the Palm or so it seems it from JBR.
They go off every week, I think Friday nights generally.

What is it in aid of?

Who is it thats setting them off?

They used to go off from Atlantis every Thursday at 10pm and now they seem more random for specific events. They also go off from the hotels around the crescent like the Palm One and Only. Never seen any on the fronds. Find them annoying going off at various hours as it upsets those that have dogs particularly if you're in the middle of an evening walk!

I think the fireworks must go off on the fonds as you can see them in the distance when stood on Nasimi Beach. The fireworks are not set off at the hotel. Maybe these are the ones, maybe they're not!! You'll have to go investigate next time.
