Next one is at Safa park this saturday.
A group of Japanese expatriates are getting together at the Flea-market in Safa Park on Saturday 2nd April from 8am to 1pm.. We hope to raise awareness of the plight of the many victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan . We will be selling high quality second hand clothes, books, DVDs, toys and household goods that have been donated to us, in addition to some handicraft. Please show your support by coming to see us on the day.
Sorry to hijack thread ;)
Are you still collecting donations? I've some books I'd like to donate. Maybe you could make this a seperate thread (if you have not already done so) as I'm sure a lot of people would like to help the Japanese victims.
I was going to sign up for selling on Saturday but it's short notice for me I think, how often are they on? Does anyone know? I'll definately come to support the stand for japan's cause.
I went to the first one at Motor City and wouldn't go back I don't think. Granted it was the first one but there were only about 5 tables. It took us a while to find it. There were flags at the main entrance but was on a small street between the buildings and very little parking. Perhaps in time it might grow but if in the same location I have no idea where people would park. Really seemed to be only for the residences of Motor City.

Good morning,
am thinking of doing one last fleamarket before leaving Dubai and wanted to hear, if anyone attended the motorcity one last time? It is in the afternoons, so is it busy? Could you sell your things?
I love Safa Park but it is quite a drive ;-)
Thanks for sharing your experiences...
