please could you keep a look out for my cat - [url=http://dubai.dubizzle.com/classified/lostfound/lost/pets/2011/2/8/missin...
He has actually been missing since September but a few weeks ago I got a call from a lady who had seen a cat in JVT who matched his description. We lost him from springs 15 and it is possible he crossed that stretch of sand and went to JVT. Of course now that possibility is there, I am searching like crazy just to make sure, somehow we never give up hoping. Problem is since they saw the cat that looked like him, it hasn't been spotted since. I have been going and searching but no sign. If you live that way could you please keep a look out, his name is Rolo and he is smaller than the Arabian Mau (he was a rescue from the Philippines). Thank you

I have now lost my 2 cats in District 8i :0( One's black and one's a tabby. Both have green collars with address tags on. Think they might have got lost somewhere but I expect they'll at least be together. Can you please keep an eye out for me? thanks

Have spent a long time searching in district 8 and did find an orange and white cat, unfortunately not Rolo :( I think this is the one people have seen. This boy though is more orange with some white, Rolo is really more white with some orange. But they do look pretty similar. Now the last hope is district 2 where a lady thinks she saw him 2 weeks ago in her garden. However I suppose it could well be the same cat moving around. Thought we were really onto something but now not so sure. Anyway will keep searching district 2; at least until I find the orange and white cat that lives there. Gosh these cats really cause us all some heartache.

Thanks for the offer Tiki but I think I would end up trapping every cat but him. If he hears my voice he should (hopefully) come to me. I bottle fed him from 2 days old, so I really am mum. Rolo and his two siblings we found in a plastic bag down a storm drain in the Philippines, they all come like dogs when we call them, am hoping he still will. Off out to have another search, fingers crossed.

AT, if you want, I can put you in contact that can lend you a cat trap. Some nice smelly roasted chicken in the trap and you'll be sure than next time you come and check, a cat is inside...(can't assure it's the right one though...). Don't relay much on the workers saying...everytime I had to look at a pet in the neighbour, they never saw anything (even when I def. saw my dog passing in front of them 30s before...).

Thanks everyone. I actually have even been into that area where the workers are, called and called but no sign. Also talked to the workers but they hadn't seen him. It was around district 8 that the orange and white cat was spotted. I keep going all different times of the day but no luck yet; there are so many hiding places round there. Does anyone know a quick route from JVT back to the springs? I used to do a short cut across the sand but they have blocked it, it is a long round trip now. If anyone spots him could you please take a quick snap with your mobile, at least then I would know if it is him or not. Or even better grab him and I will come running. If it is him he has the sweetest personality and wouldn't mind being picked up (but I suppose a few months on the streets might have changed that). Very frustrating that each time I go I can't find any cats.:(

I have seen so many cats head for there. and yes i can say i have seen cats or a cat very similar to yours but obviousley skinnier and dirtier. I'll certainly keep an eye out for him too. We keep a constant supply of food in our garage for the street cats, so if he is around District 7, at the very least he will have food to eat! Hope he comes home soon. xx
