We've just moved into our furnished apartment in Dubai having been living in a hotel since landing here just before Christmas. Now our shipment's arrived from Bahrain and I have a crisis ....too many clothes and not enough space!

We used to live in a place with two double wardrobes in each of the two bedrooms. Here there's one per room so before we have a marital crisis as well (I've squashed up his suits and shirts to fit in my blouses and my clothes are currently "hung" on our bed) any ideas where I can find a second hand wardrobe or should I just head for IKEA?

Susie

Hi I have an Ikea wardrobe for sale..double door with 3 shelves...400dhs available today:) Aw... too late DH decided to bite the bullet last night and volunteered to go to IKEA (a place he swore that he'd never go to again in the UK!)... a few hours later the flat pack was delivered and he set to and put it together. I think he's been missing DIY for the past year! Thx anyway for the offer

I recommend this guy very much if you like to have carpentry work done. he had done great work for me and my friends before.. professional workmanship . ask him for wood samples to choose from. his number is 0553112890 edited by Water Lily on 24/01/2011

as a very temporary measure you could buy just the clothes rails (about 70 / 80 dhs) that are on wheels until you decide on a final solution.

I vote for Ikea! You'll get the most selection there. If you are worried about quality, it seems like the PAN furniture place in Al Barsha has decent deals.
