Hello EW, quick question about your gas tanks, do you turn them off after use? I am turning mine on and off all the time and my hubby says there is no need but i am sure i read that you should do this with cylinder gas tanks. Is this right or wrong please, we have a fiver on it so please say I'm right! TIA

Don't turn mine off at all, except when I pull the oven out to give it a clean. I don't know what your set up is though. We have an emergency shut off switch which is right next to it which cuts the supply, but you have to then re-connect it by turning a knob in one of our cupboards so in an emergency I can just hit this switch. I've never touched the actual bottle. Sorry - think you may lose your fiver - unless of course I'm doing it all wrong!!
