Heart worm is not an issue here which is why you cant buy it. You can try o get some friends from th states to bring it out for you, however its pointless giving him the medication if it's not required.
Our lab was on Heart Guard medication in the states and finished her last chewable tablet from the pack last week. I need to get her another pack so she can take her medication next month and I've checked two vet offices so far and neither has ever heard of the medication. The last office said they don't carry any heart worm preventative meds b/c there isn't heart worm here in UAE. Anyone here have their dogs on a heart worm preventative or is it really true heart worm isn't an issue here?
