If it is a suspected abscess under a tooth I would suggest going to the chemists and buying a broad spectrum anti-biotic, chances are the dentist will prescribe one anyway. I think most dentists won't start before 10am on a Friday :(

This is the after-hours number for the medicenters - For booking appointments after 5pm, please call 04 449 5111. They are the clinics run by Emaar that they have in Dubai Mall, Meadows and Ranches. thanks...just called...its just an answering service saying they are closed on a friday and to leave a message. Mr F getting frantic..will keep trying other numbers

I second the medi centers - I don't know where you are, but I thought I saw they had a dentist clinic on Fridays. Otherwise, you might try Emirates Hospital: Dubai: +971 4 349 6666 Dubai Marina: +971 4 4471777 They are open 24 hours and have dentistry.

There's one in motor city 043608866, I go to the Karama dentist his number is on here if u do a search u could try him as well :) thanks...what do you mean by medi centre? I have tried welcare and they don't have one available..aaargh
