I have the same problem and have bought 2 lovely pairs of boots from Marks and spencers! one dark blue sued, other grey, the blue ones I bought a couple of years ago and are the most comfy boots ever and only wish I had bought 2 pairs! They were around 200 dhs and as they are soft suede and elasticated, IYKWIM, they fit all calk sizes, go up to below the knee and are great for wearing with dresses, skirts as well as the usual jeans etc. Not sure if they still have them but they did at the end of the year. HTH
Have you tried Chic Shoes (Festival Centre & Mirdif City Centre)? They do 2 brands that might work, Caprice & Tamaris (Tamaris also have a stand alone shop in Festival Centre). I have a few pairs and I have never had the problem of calves not fitting.
Wow, really like the look of this Duo shop. Have always had trouble finding shoes and boots, not blessed with standard sizes of either I'm afraid. This goes into favourites.
endless.com (affiliated somehow with Amazon) is an online shoe store. If you search for boots, you can select from a bunch of options (heel height, boot height, etc) and of of the options is wide calf. Brings up many great styles!
Thanks, I'll check out Evans!
Those Duo Boots look FAB...think I'll have to wait till my birthday though, a little out of my budget! There are a few pairs now firmly on my wish list though :)
I am the owner of a pair of chunky calves ;-) Try Duo Boots if you can get things shipped via the uk.

ETA - just looked at their site and I think they will ship here direct.

I can't zip up anything from Aldo or those types of places but would love some gorgeous leather boots (riding style or heels, don't mind).
Anyone have any tips on where to buy slightly wider legged boots?
