Homesick Children
I'm starting to get a little concerned about my DD. She is five years old and just seems so miserable. She has huge crying fits about wanting to go home or missing certain things about home, whether it be Grandma, our old house, her friends, her old nursery or just the snails in the garden which she loved playing with. She has the memory of an elephant and seems to remember even the minutest detail about our old life. We have been here a little over a year and the rest of the family are happy and settled. She is doing ok at school and has made some nice friends. We spend lots of quality time with her and we have a good standard of living. I'm not sure what else we can do for her. Does anyone else have similar problems? Any advice for making children feel more settled?
