I dont think they allow pushchairs there..so they dont encourage the little ones to go along.. i took my 9 yr old once she loved it , brilliant show afterwards with fireworks etc...the boozey people tend to stay in the bars etc only ever seen old kids/teenagers there.

It's not really a child's event..........there is always a vast deal of alcohol floating about, the racing doesn't start till late, by which time the effects are beginning to show. i wouldn't even consider taking a child, let alone an infant.

Do you take the kids? Are there any restrictions ie pushchairs? Or do we find a sitter? DD will be 18 months in March TIA
