I was just there last week. It's definitely worth a trip in the winter. I will make a point of going there once a year from now on as it is a nice experience. They offer the gourmet cuisine of Pizza Hut, Hardee's, and KFC. ooooh thats news before they only had their burgers which werent up to much.

def. worth the visit. I saw KFC there, so food shouldnt be a problem. the only comment that it was extremely crowded, as we went in Eid holiday. the other thing that it's huge, & we couldnt go through the entire park but it was a nice day, specially if you go to the top of Jebel Hafeet at the night.

It's great-very clean and if you go early in the day you almost have the place to yourself-I did-they guys insisted on driving me round in the little zebra train in solitary splendour.............

We went last month. Great atmosphere, really cheap to get in (Dhs 15/adult, Dhs 5 for kids), and if you're Muslim, there's a nice mosque (with PROPER ladies area and clean ladies toilet!) near the picnic grounds. I went to the San Diego Zoo as a kid, so it was great to see a similar ethos.

I went last month and was pleasantly surprised - it's partnered with the San Diego Zoo so I think there's a lot of investment going into the enclosures etc. Was particularly impressed with the African plains style enclosure - the zebra, rhinos, giraffes etc had a lot of room to wander. Some of the older enclosures weren't great - but it looks like they're slowly moving the animals into bigger and better homes. We didn't eat there, but I did notice a KFC. It seemed to be more popular to take a picnic tbh.

I haven't been for a couple of years but we had a great day out, and for very little money, too. My only complaint was that the food was not up to much, and i don't know if that's changed, but apart from that we liked it.
