Sorry, I might be sounding a bit daft, but just trying to figure out how to make maximum use of this book. Planning to buy 1 so trying to understand how do these vouchers work? Do we need to make advance booking in case of dinning or just show up at the venue & what if its say 5 people instead of just 2.

Tried checking out the website but couldnt actual find out much. Please help n TIA :(

The book has vouchers for Ski-Dubai, Dubai Dolphinariaum, Desert safari, Aquaventure. Fine-dining for the adults and some your regular restuarants - very handy! You can only buy it online though, so keep your eyes peeled! I'm a sucker for bargains too salsB...

For example at the Butcher shop and grill, order 2 steaks 185 each and get one free, now thats a bargain. I love the entertainer!!!!!!!!!

lolololololol Ain't life so much more interesting like this, em2san? full of surprises on a constant basis? :) Sorry FlowerMom, don;t know those books but if they are Entertainer they should work the same way. Don't forget the 2 for 1 for Wild Wadi and Atlantis and some other entertianments - they are great vor visitors (esp. if with kids)

... we have in some cases ordered one soup and one main course and the soup was free or sometimes a breakfats and a main course. [i'>It depends much on the place and also on the staff.[/i'> This is so true, Marydots and I love this about Dubai - no consistency, always surprising; everything varies from branch to branch, hour to hour, staff to staff :)

Ok, so I purchsed a mini-book from the lowcostdubai.com website, the book has over 30 Entertainer vouchers which is brilliant. I have friends here from South Africa and its been really handy for them. I ordered and payed for two online and they were delivered to my office in like 3 hours. I reckon the same rules apply for these mini-books.

Exactly, em2san. Just one more thing: [i'>Also, I just wanted to mention that as is written on the coupon, the offer applies on "main course items" only.[/i'> - although this is true for most coupons, there are some that are offers for breakfats or drink only and we have in some cases ordered one soup and one main course and the soup was free or sometimes a breakfats and a main course. It depends much on the place and also on the staff. I don't know if Organic Cafe is still included this year (didn't go there yet) but would def recommend it esp if you have kids. They, for example, last year had diff offers - one for main course, another for pizza and the 3rd one ?

One more question say for eg. we are ordering 5 dishes, the cheapest 2 will be free right? If you order 5 dishes, the cheapest 2 will be free. And say i go with my fiance n order sumthing he gets the same thing free or can he order sumthing else of the same value or lesser value? If you order something, your fiance DOES not have to get the same thing as you. He can order something of higher value [your dish will be considered free'> or he can order something of lower value [his dish will be considered free'> or he can order something of same value [and you will only have to pay for one of the two dishes'>. Also, I just wanted to mention that as is written on the coupon, the offer applies on "main course items" only.

Hi Shoyz, You don't need to book in advance BECAUSE OF the book coupons unless that is the usual policy of the venue. Just show up and present your coupons when you ask for the bill. I'll give you a piece of advice, though: We always ask if they accept Entertainer coupons or whatever coupons we might have - in some instances it happened that the restaurants had cancelled the deal with Entertainer and were no longer accepting the coupon so we had to pay the whole bill. Also some branches do not belong to the same owner or sth like that so coupons/vouchers are not always accepted everywhere - check the back of the coupons for the places where it is accepted but always confirm with them as sometimes it is not updated and new branches open and they accept them although they are not mentioned in the back. So, just in case, ask when you arrive at the venue or give them a call before you go. It's very easy to use them and we had never had any issues besides the 2 exmaples I gave you above and we have been using them for yearrrrrrrsssss! They only accept a maximum of 2 coupons per table / bill (?) so for 5 ppl you could present 2 coupons. We sometimes do a trick that works when we are more: if we are sharing the bill (and we are not inviting), we still ask for different bills and can then submit more than 2 coupons. :) edited by Marydots on 09/03/2011 edited by Marydots on 09/03/2011

Some you can just do a walk in, and some you may need to book. If there a 5 of you then you can use 2 vouchers, you will get the 2 cheapest meals free.
