It's a BOGOF - book 2 nights, pay for 1. You could be liable for paying the tax portion for the ''free'' night (although they didn't charge us at Yas Hotel a few months ago when we used a travel voucher) and there are blackout dates and the hotel will only accept so many guests with offer vouchers at a certain time. Saying that, we have only used the 1 voucher so far from the Travel book and had no problems at all with paying taxes or getting the specific dates we wanted....am hoping to book Banyan Tree this year using the voucher, so will see how that goes and report back if there are any problems with making the booking...

Is it worth you looking in The Entertainer Travel book? I know the Banyan Tree is in there...

Just call the hotels direct, much easier. The Hilton Beach resort is wonderful, as is the Al Hamra Fort Hotel.

generally direct with the hotel to be honest. Some lovely hotels down there - Hilton (on the beach not in central RAK) the Cove or the Banyan Tree. You feel like you are on holiday although you are only an hour or so from Dubai!!! Enjoy
