Hi ladies,

any tips on how to choose the best ones? Can you recommend someone or a place? I want to take some home as gifts but would like to take the real thing although not really interested in going bankrupt for this :( . Is there such a thing as 100% Pashmina or some other designation that somehow certifies the quality?

A tip from the guy at the shop where we buy our rugs - He got my husband to take off his wedding ring and pulled my pashmina through the ring. His ring is approx 22mm The old i can pull it through my ring trick!

Take a piece of the cloth and scrunch it up in your hand. If it wrinkles easily and a lot it isnt 100% Theres nothing worse than a creased pashmina they look awful !

Because if it isn't a true pashmina the fabric is too thick/coarse to be able to pull it through the ring.
