Brought the same one as you Bluecow, the Babyliss Brushing 700 from Sharaf in Times Square. It is very easy to use + certainly my thin frizzy locks looked smooth, shiny + frizz free afterwards. Except because the brush removed all my natural curls my smooth shiny hair looks thinner than ever!

Reporting back on my quest for swishy hair. I bought a Babyliss Brushing 700 (about 160 Dhs) at Carrefour. It is not Babyliss Big Hair, but comparing the two on the net it is for the same purpose. I have used it several times and I am very happy with the results - hair bouncy with no frizz (and believe me, I am usually the frizzy monster on the school run). There have been a few rather vocal OMG moments when I managed to tangle my hair quite nicely. Fortunately I rewound it the other way and scissors where not required. Would defnitely recommend, but it does take a bit of getting use to.

Frannie, if you still havent found one of these..I got this link from another EW thread and was browsing it for something completely different but when I saw that they are selling so many babyliss products, I remembered your swishy hair thread :) Not sure if they have what you are looking for but maybe you can give them a call. http://www.nazih.com/category.php?category=Electrical+Products&type=Curling+Iron

OOOOhhhh Well. Can't see it via your link so looked it up on Amazon. Has 5 stars (admittedly from only 3 reviews) and is 74 pounds! So you got a bit of a bargain there MissB! May have to swing by Sharaf and contemplate. Thank you! Check also C4. Saw something similar there (not sure, which brand though, but 2 different brands).

Me too Appletiser! Have a cupboard full of hair based electrical items that I need to pass on to some sort of hair related charity/support group for frizz - nothing yet has tamed the Frannie mane but I reckon these babies might just do it!

Am so interested in this. Will it sort out frizzy wavy hair and make it swishy? Have contemplated kerastraight but do not want totally straight and it seems rather extravagant. I would be such a happy fish if this would do the trick.

Thanks girls. I think it is very similar to the Babyliss one which is getting raved about all over the internet. My hair has been tied up in a bun for yonks and as a new Mum I don't really have time for lots of blow dries so this could be the answer to my prayers. <<I love buying beauty products>>

Thanks Miss B, I may hold out for the Babyliss as I have heard it is very good for thick/curly hair - which I have an abundence of! Appreciate the response.x
