I'd love to know WHERE people bought their fireworks and crackers for Diwali this week - the amount being set off last night over our community was ridiculous.. And they kept going off until late like 11.30pm!! I'm all for embracing cultures but surely there's an expectation that people should respect others in the city who don't partake in these celebrations. It was the fire crackers on my doorstep that were the big annoyance - on the street with parked cars near by and people driving around the estate. Ridiculous!
