I am in the process of bringing an Indian maid to Dubai. I have been advised to bring her on a visit visa first. She has an ECR on her passport and to bring her in on an employment visa I would need to go through a very tedious procedure at the Indian Consulate.
The plan is to bring her here on a visit and then transfer to an employment visa paying the additional amount to the UAE immigration.
Is there anyone who has done this? Could you please shed some light?
What happens when she goes back on vacation with the ECR still showing but having a dubai residence visa? Will she have any problem at the immigration in India.
Your help/ feedback would be very much appreciated. Have had so much bad luck with maids its unbelievable.
