Inman aligner anyone tried it?

I just got back from the dentist and she told me about Inman Aligners and I sent off a cast to see if I am a candidate. On the way home I mentioned it to a friend and she had actually had used them years ago and said it made her teeth flare outwards requiring braces to fix the flare. I can't seem to find many or any "unpaid" /unbiased reviews. If anyone has tried them out it would be great to hear what your overall conclusion was about doing it.
Or if anyone even decided not to do it, your reasons why you didn't would be helpful.
