NO! Be really careful and don't waste time with agents who contact you that way! If you let an agent show the property they will charge the tenant 5%. If you go the agent way use one that is well known. I have dealt with Allsopp and Allsopp too and they were good as well.

Has anyone got experience what is better for renting it out: advertise it on dubizzle or approaching an agent like Hamptons/ Better Homes??? People do prefer renting directly from the landlord, BUT make sure you have all your paperwork sorted your end so that you're protected from tenant.

Avoid the agents you have mentioned like the plague, neither are very nice to deal with. I would try doing it yourself to start - put an ad up on Dubizzle and see what happens, that way you have a happy tenant who has saved 5% and you have not had to deal with the creepy agents in this city. If you decide you have/want to use an agent talk to Property Shop, Landmark, Exclusive and perhaps a few others who are nicer to deal with!!
