Is it required by law here for a LL or agent to have any to cover fire, pool leaking etc TIA Nope .. They are currently looking into 3rd party insurance as currently it doesnt exist here . Sometimes the property is covered by buildings insurance - The owner of the Title deed is the only person to have the ability to obtain cover _ costs around 1000 dirham a year ... silly really - most owners have zilch cover
