There was a smattering - mostly down the back of my neck - when I was walking on the beach this morning. My 4 year old wasn't happy, I made her change out of a white skirt (she's magnetically drawn to puddles), because it looked like rain. I love that in Dubai we usually get some rain over the major sporting events - Dubai 7s, golf, tennis and World Cup - each year! Just because it's not rained yet, doesn't mean it won't, the World Cup was flooded out in 97 or 98, and that's March.

4 fat spots during my drive between DXB & AUH this morning, time = approx 07.15hrs. NOTHING since, neither there nor here!! No puddles anywhere so do not believe it's actually rained properly anywhere. I'm beginning to think rain has been cancelled this year (just like they move prophets birthdays etc) :cool: I'd love to see some REAL rain .............. maybe not whilst I'm negotiating SZR tho :\: <em>edited by Loopy Lotti on 09/02/2011</em>
