I am hopefully going to be returning to full time work shortly and will require a maid to look after my DD in the afternoons so ideally would like a maid full time so she can do housework in am and look after DD in pm- however i don't want someone to live in so my question is does anyone have a maid full time that lives out is that possible, i know it will probably cost more and if so roughly how much - and can this be done through an agency. Any tips or advice would be appreciated TIA

Maybe call up all the agencies i know they provide full time maids but on their visa s. Also if u sponsor and have a live out they are more likely to be working at other places at night and at the weekend ...which can leave u with a fine of around 50 k .... Try Howdra , sky maids ive used these agencies.

I've had two live out nannies in the past and got one of them from the Classified Section. Her package in total came to 2700AED. She worked 5 days a week. She came to me for 8am and finished at 6pm but if she babysit I paid her extra and a taxi home. If you live near public transport than you could pay her slightly less for transport.

Did you have any luck finding a live out maid? I am in the same situation and do not need someone to live in.

I think between 2400 and 3000aed would be the salary for a live out maid. Depending on the hours you want her to work of course. I think because they have to pay transportation and housing that it is quite fair!

My sister had a live out maid/nanny. I think she was paid 2500Dhs but she was more qualified as a nanny & did light house duties. I think you pay for their accommadation which is normally around 500/600Dhs ontop of their salary. If they need a car lift to get to you if there is no bus service near you then it's up to you if you want to help pay for some of that cost.
