Just out of interest (not much I can do about it now!) when you have had maids leave, on good terms, have they left their room a total tip for you to tidy up? Ours is not only dirty but has also left everything such as toiletries, full bin etc for me to clear up, despite having been asked if it was clean and answering that it only needed a normal basic clean. Looks like it needs disinfecting to me!!
