Meeting neighbors
So i just moved to dubai a week ago and finished unpacking
I would like to get to know the neighbors, not make friends just know them to feel more settled in.
I dont know how to go about this because where i am from they should make the first move by bringing in food etc
I was thinking a gift basket with cookies, chips jam or whatever with a card that includes my number just in case the kids ever get loud or they need anything
Or is that peculiar in dubai?
The other thing is one of them happens to be a religious saudi man and i am a single woman and i dont want to knock and make him feel uncomfortable
Should i just leave the basket at the door quietly ? Should i ring and run? That is If i went the basket route
I was told i should just hang out outside and introduce myself whenever i run into them but its too hot for that
Is a card enough? The doors are built in away that i cant slide anything under so how will i even go about that!
