My mom is visiting me from America in a few days. I would like to do something special for her. I had no idea that the Arabic Mothers day is on the 21st of March.

Do any of you ladies know of any specials going on?

That sounds good Hotspot. I have my mum visiting later in the month and was thinking of taking her to the Burj for afternoon tea, now I will have to choose!!!

Thanks Hotpot, I'll definitely check it out. I've never been to Al Qasr before. =)

I can highly recommend the afternoon tea at Al Qasar, fayrooz lounge. I did this last week and it was amazing. We sat outside on the terrace that has views of the Burj Al Arab, Pier Chic and the ocean. The amount of cakes, scones, nibbles, sandwiches etc was overwhelming. We took a huge box home! Its 140 dhs or 220 with a glass of bubbly. You could have 1 afternoon tea between 2 and still be overwhelmed. The cakes were the best I have ever tasted. http://www.timeoutdubai.com/restaurants-awards-2011/gallery/20414-top-ten-afternoon-teas-in-dubai?image=4

I know I haven't gotten any replies. Just found a fab deal at the Burjuman Rotana. Has anyone been there before? 750 dirhams for 1 night stay with your Mom. Includes breakfast for 2, full access to the fitness first and two outdoor swimming pools. Oh and dinner served in your room. :) [url=http://www.rotanatimes.com/burjumanarjaanbyrotana/offers/629'>link[/url'>
