To all animal welfare groups, I have just received to my horror, information that in the past two weeks the Municipality have trapped and killed 150 cats in Mirdif. The preferred method years ago was poisoning which was bad enough, and I hear the new one is gassing. In any event both are barbaric. Keep pets indoors, its just not worth the heartache :("
Does anyone know anymore about this or have any experience having seen them / lost a cat etc? My cats go outside but do not have microchips and I also have two strays I care for but that do not have collars/chips and now I will worry about them also....
