Not been to any welcare hospitals. At the American my dd sees the dermatologist there there is only one there sorry I always forget his name. Im under DR raj at the american as well she's an ob they do gynae as well? Dentist I go to dr madhu in karama his a fab dentist who doesn't charge ridiculous prices and doesn't do unnecessary work. Gp I go to medi centres seen different ones and I've found they are all very good even with my kids etc <em>edited by fairycakeyumm on 28/08/2011</em>

Thank you all for your responses. To CaptainJacky: We just found out today that for one claim we had to pay AED200 and for the other AED50 (both visits at the same place). Will go back and ask for the rest of the money of course.....or very good explanation:) To Fairycakemum: Have you tried any of the Wellcare Hospitals or can you recommend any specialised doctors within the network (dermatologist, gynea). I do realise that we all can have different NAS insurance policy plans however.

NAS is a call Centre for lots of different Insurance companies, so it depends on your provider what clinics are in their network. I have NAS but my provider is QIC and Nicholas and Asp is in my network so it's direct billing including dental, but for dental I have a limit that I can spend per year. If you call the 800 number on the back of your card and give them your card number they will email you a list of all clinics, dentists, hospitals and pharmacies in your network. <em>edited by starsouthern on 28/08/2011</em>

Just to point out that Dr.Nicolas & Asp is outside of the NAS network, therefore we have to pay AED200 per each visit ourselves (consultation fees are AED300 approx.) or 60% of the gynea (various test, examin.). Regarding dental in the above mentioned, we paid 25% of the treatment however, I was told recently we'll have to pay 60% (which is not cheap). Is Dubai London Clinic within NAS network....or has anybody used Wellcare Hospital in Knowledge Village and can recommend anybody there? Also any recom. for the medical centre in Al Fattan Towers (JBR)? Thank you,

Am not sure that any medical cover do direct billing for dental - i thought it was a claim back procedure. Not sure to be honest. Guess it depends whether you opted for the additional monthly payment for dentistry.. Even, all the insurance that i have had that have included dental cover; i have had to pay and then claim back. NOne have been direct billing, even the good insurance like Neruon. You're probably right. Was just suggesting a one stop shop to OP.
