For the 3rd night in a row I am being kept awake by Nasimi Beach.

I have tried before to get them to speak with me about it by calling and sending emails to no avail.

Finaly tonight unable to sleep I called and spoke to the duty manager at Nasimi who did in fact turn the music down.

I told her I thought it was unreasonable for me to be keppt awake every weekend including Saturdays by their loud noise, if I can hear it clearly in my bedroom with the windows closed the other side of the bridge and 2 fronds down it must be excessivley loud.

I dont want to be a party pooper, am I the only resident of The Palm who has issues or are there others.

I did say my next step would be to complain to the municipality, she did not seem to realise how load the music was and how far away it could be heard but did promise to look into the matter - lets see what happens.

Going to try and sleep now.

Hi Nikki63 - I posted a thread a few weeks ago. The noise is ridiculous so much so that we are going to move home at the end of our lease in June! I emailed them, threatened them with writing to 7 days, calling the authorities etc and they didn't even have the courtesy to email me back. The problem I think is that with more and more hotels opening around the fronds on the crescents, the noise will only get worse. Every night there is something going on and I can't sit in the garden (never mind have a window open finally!) and have a peaceful evening without some booming going on. Like I said before, and I know some people love The Palm, but to me it is a holiday hotspot set to get worse. I've also seen the plans for the universe that is set to go between The World and The Palm - I know it is a fair way off but more noise is bound to come. Also, I don't know if you have noticed, but the noise from helicopter tours over The Palm, planes from parachuters etc is getting worse. The jet ski noise at least once a week sounds like a giant swarm of bees and the little s**ts on jetskis going up and down the fronds whilst people are swimming in the sea is just a joke. Extra rant over. The little s.... you mention are apparently HRH's sons! They are the only ones allowed to jetski within the fronds! Typical! Seriously, they are allowed to jet ski down them? My kids are out swimming and kayaking and the most recent jet skiiers missed their heads by a metre. There were about 8 -10 of them - like something out of James Bond! Needless to say they nearly drowned and are now no longer allowed to swim or kayak. Such a shame as they loved it.

Somebody else posted a thread on this a few weeks ago, look it up, I bet it's a nightmare, I can't imagine it every weekend especially as it's nice now to sleep with windows open and get some fresh air, I live on the ranches next to the golf course and on new years eve they were having party that went on until 5 am, that was bad enough but was a one off. I hope you can get some sleep !
