Anyone knows where to buy Natural Desiccated Thyroid? Online?
And also... is there a doctor in Dubai who knows about NDT?

Thanks!
Vivi

I am taking Biothroid, which is T3 + T4 and I buy it at Intelligent Health. I visit Doctor Cora there who I am very happy with and she prescribed it for me. That is very interesting as it is derived from the same type of animal as the other NDT's...hmmm...interesting they would allow one but not the others? I will certainly try it, thanks for the suggestion!

Yes my experience has been that they don't even have synthetic T3 here either. The endocrinologists I have seen advised me to stop taking it and to continue with thyroxine only; due to lack of T3 availability but also because they are not aware of the benefits. Please post on here if you do find someone who will prescribe it for you. Thanks

Unfortunately it does not exist here - to my knowledge, and not many doctors know of it. I have thyroid issues too and been unable to get this here. You can order it online but check with DHA if it is allowed to be brought in as they update their list of allowed supplements and medicine frequently. I was going to order it from a website in the UK but could not get them deliver here. I am on Syntroxine at the moment as it is a gel capsule and a touch better for me than Eltroxin or Levothyroxine. My personal belief of it not being available here is that it is derived from animals of a certain breed thus not allowed to be distributed. I might be wrong though... http://www.thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/treatment/where_to_get_desiccated.html Thank you for your answer. Maybe they don't have it as it is derived from ***. But it is the only medicine that is natural.
