I have set up Shop'n'Ship, however this company refuses to deliver through a 3rd party freight company. Why I've no idea.

Has anyone ordered stuff from Abercrombie & Fitch. They are saying to use the billing address, however this is our PO Box No.

They do not seem to understand English (but then they never did in the UK either) - I have asked them whether they ship direct to our door via a courier, or whether only to a PO Box, which presumably will be a problem. But they do not seem to be able to understand so I am rather concerned about placing an order in case it disappears to never never land...

Must be nice! Villa dwellers get all the perks! Good luck...hope one of those A&F door greeters hand delivers the package for all the trouble it's been!

yes we do - villa no. street no. etc, as we have had things delivered by courier. I believe though you need to put a contact number within the address boxes - am intending on using DH's office address. He says you only need a name and number - and has had boat bits delivered from the UK this way. Fingers crossed and have told DDs it's at their risk and we are not refunding money if things go astray!

But do you actually have a home address? We don't...our's is the name of our building and apartment number. No actual street name/number! I've only sent stuff to DH's work and that's a PO Box too!

Finally after much fruitless emailing, I eventually asked them if they wanted to sell me something! And I got a sensible respsonse - they ship by FedEx and you use your home address. Shipping however is $75 which seems a lot to me, but I think works out roughly the same as if we'd paid for shipping within the US and then shop'n'shipped. So fingers crossed......

exactly - I don't understand the problem with 'third party shippers' - at the end of the day the supplier gets paid for the goods, tax hasn't been deducted, delivery in the US is paid, end of surely!! Or am I missing something. Still waiting for an answer from them re PO boxes though, but not holding out any hope - their 'sister' Hollister was a nightmare in the UK when we tried to reclaim VAT! Surely any business is good business these days.

Jeez...customers are trying their hardest to give a retailer some business, and it's like senior-level logistical planning. How some businesses survive is beyond me...HERE'S MY $$, PLEASE TAKE IT! :\:

I have ordered & shipped to a friend in the U.S. which has in turn shipped my items here. A little FYI, if you use your vpn the *clearance* tab will magically appear. Without the vpn you will not see the sale prices : /

thanks DK - not sure if the DDs shopping list will be fulfilled this way - will get them to look though. They will deliver to the UAE, I just don't know which address to use - and they can't answer this simple question!

If they won’t deliver to a 3rd party freight company, why don’t you try buying from amazon.com? You can find Abercrombie products sold either by Amazon or other retailers and they will fulfill your order to a shop n ship address.
