Dont worry- its no big deal since you are applying for a residence visa for her. If you transfer the visa in country without exiting- it will work out at AED30 a day - so the fine will be a total of 450 dhs for 15 days whihc they will add on when they stamp....
It's 100AED per day - I cannot imagine the price going down!. Last May when DH had his visa sorted out and I'm not even sure how it happened but we got charged 500 AED cause DD's who was 2 years old at the time visa was overdue by 5 days.
have heard they have fined people the standard rate per day and then they fine you 100 dhs or so again fine for getting the fine for being late....!!???

This happened with one of my uncle's. He's a very old man and he took advantage of his advanced years. Went to the visa office and one of the people working there let him bypass the line and took him straight to the front. He just started rambling about the issue and about how kind he knows locals are and the guy in the tandoora just laughed and gave him an extended visa for 15 more days.
Hopefully, someone else will be able to give you a more "official" way of doing thing. Otherwise, worth a try!
Dear ladies, I have a problem, please give me your best advise!!! Happens that my mother entered in UAE with a 90 days visa, our plan was to apply for a residency visa, happens to be that from our home country, Venezuela, it's a nightmare to acquire legal documents, it take months as it had happened to us, we will finally be receiving the last required document by the DRND, in a week time frame, which means sumu up that she will be here for 15 days overstay without a visa , what are the consequences of this situation? besides paying a fine and how much daily?
Please HELP!!!!!!
