The Palm vs Damac Hills
Hello everyone!
Just hoping to get some advice on where I should rent as hubby has just changed jobs so we must move from our current place in JLT.
We are a young couple, no kids, but have a large 3-legged dog (well trained and quiet indoors). We have looked at two places that we really like but can’t decide which would be best. As we are fairly new to DUBAI I was hoping some of you may have some advice!
The first place is a fully furnished villa in Damac Hills. While we have some of our own furniture, the furniture in this place is amazing - gorgeous lighting and interiors etc. it’s a 3 bed villa with a small private garden that would be perfect for the dog once we put grass in. It’s currently advertised for 160000.
The second is a townhouse in Fairmont residences on the palm. This place is also 3 bed but it’s huge - giant garage, huge bedrooms, beautiful pool and has a small yard for the dog. Its downsides are that it faces construction. It is not furnished. This one is going for 165000
Does anyone have any experience of living in either of these areas? The appeal of the Palm is the proximity to restaurants and nightlife ... but then getting in and out might be a nightmare?
Damac Hills on the other hand is brand new and seems to have a good community spirit but is far...,
