A friend of mine has recently received a fine for running a red light on the Dubai tram line.... a complete accident and entirely down to not paying attention, she admits, but we're hoping anyone who has done the same has any experience they can share?

5k Dhs, 24 black points, 1 year driving ban and/or 30 day car impound isn't the ideal situation to be faced with.

whose stupid enough to run a red light by the tram. theres clear road markings so your friend isnt exactly a great driver if this is the case. anyway, head to either barsha or deira traffic dept and speak to one of the staff there to clarify what can be done to prevent a year long ban
