Pet sitters that board in their home

Hello - we have recently moved our small (5 kilo) dog to Dubai and have been researching options for him for when we are on vacation. We're from New York, and there are plenty of services there whereby dog sitters will take dogs into their own homes and care for them (typically alongside one or two other dogs, including the petsitter's own pooch).

Here in Dubai it seems like all I can find are pet boarding facilities (which my separation anxiety filled dog would absolutely hate) and pet sitters that stop into your home a few times a day (thereby leaving him alone for 22+ hours a day).

we will obviously look to friends first to take care of him while we leave town here and there, but it would be great to have someone we could count on and trust for some of the longer trips... Does anyone know of a family or person that accepts dogs into their home for boarding?

What you are asking for is not licensed in Dubai (yes none of them and don't let people lie to you about it as you face a 100,000 aed fine for using someone unlicensed). I have recently set up my fully licensed pet sitting company - www.pawpals.ae - if you want to check us out. We have a number of solutions that can help you out , including overnight pet sits.
