Hi,
I'm considering doing a PGCEi in Dubai. My question is how robust and valid is the qualification? Is it similar to taking the PGCE in the UK?
I have spoken to universities in the UK that are offering the course via online platforms (University of Nottingham being one) . My understanding so far, is that the only difference between a regular PGCE and a PGCEi is that I will not have QTS, which means that I will not be able to teach in the UK until I get my QTS.
Is that the only difference? has anyone else taken the PGCEi? has it been recognized in the UK and globally? as its an online course. how valid and robust is it actually?
and is the PGCEi recognised by KHDA?
