I was so happy with my recent experience at the Physio that I felt I had to share. I had shoulder pain that had been getting worse since summer to the point where I couldn't even get my tshirts over my head or clip my bra behind my back. The old clip in front and spin round came in a treat ;D Eventually plucked up the courage and phoned a place my friend recommended. They placed me with Brian, a Scottish Physio and now just a few months on I have had terrific progress. I got manual therapy which helped move my shoulder, he gave me exercises to isolate some weakness in the arm but most importantly he taught me loads about what my condition was, how it happened and he totally reassured me that it would all turn out ok. Turns out I had an adhesive capsulitis, think the old name is a Frozen Shoulder. Anyhow, I still have further progress to make, but I am able to dress without issue and tonight is my first night back at the gym since August. Wish me luck. Couldn't recommend Brian more. He works out of The Physio Centre in DHCC (which I never knew was Healthcare City) xxx.
