The American Hospital was always regarded as ''best'' in Dubai (not sure about that now) - if your insurance covers it. I would agree with you with this. They've go great services there

Hi Ladies i've just found out i'm pregnant, its very early days. i'm really confused about my insurance policy and the process (i'm from the UK where we had the good old NHS) could anyone help with what i should do? do i choose a doctor from the insurance list and then go? how do i know which is a good doctor and/or clinic/hospital? any suggestions gratefully received since i'm struggling to know what to do Thanks so much! Hi there Diorgirl123 Congratulations on your pregnancy! In Dubai, you have lots of choices, unlike NHS. You can select any doctor with whom you feel comfortable with. My obstetrician was Dr Azizunnisa Shaikh who has now her own private clinic, Nisa Well Woman Clinic, you can go on their website and see their packages, if you have any issues with insurances. There are other hospitals also like American Hosp and Al Zahra Hosp, you just need to check whether your insurance covers it. Main thing for you is first,to find the best obstetrician with whom you feel comfortable, and check which hospitals she can do your delivery. Mediclinic City Hospital is one of the best and safest hospital with good midwives.

I would firstly look at your insurance and see which hospitals cover you. Once you have that use the search bar above and type in the hospital/DRs name as you will find lots and lots of threads on the DRs. All my British friends have recently delivered ( Last 1-2 years and some over 5 years ago) at Al Zahra on SZR and City in Dubai Healthcare City
