Save yourself some time and go AXA. Two reasons - they cover pre existing conditions after 9 months adn secondly because you can transfer it back to your home country. Look at Axa local scheme - unless you are going to the doctor loads or need a specific one, it is more than adequate. Took me six weeks to find this out!!!!

We went through the same thing. To get a quote requires filling in pages and pages of forms, before they would give you an accurate quote. Based of course on your age, weight, medical history etc etc etc...... No one gave us a quote over the phone. We did forms for AXA, Goodhealth and Daman. We ended up with Daman. There was another thread about this recently too if you want to search for it.

My hubby is leaving his job and going private which means our health insurance will be cancelled. I'm straggling to get quotes from any of the companies as I have been put on hold all the time for the last 2 days........ So any of you ladies/gents can recommend any please !!!!!!!!! Thanks
