We are a family of 4 moving to Dubai soon. We have areas shortlisted for house and school. Is there any concierge service that we can enlist who can assist us with showing houses, reviewing the locality etc? We intend to make a preparatory trip to Dubai soon before moving. TIA.

I am in the relocation process now, and in my 'soft landing' period. My company uses Sirva, not sure about the price or if they deal with individuals, but they have been very good so far. Thank you womanengineer! i will check Sirva out. Good luck to you!

Sounds like you need a relocation agent. Realestate agents don't get paid to show you around, so it's often very time consuming and difficult for them to find properties in different areas and often they don't have contacts with schools.

You could contact a relocation company, they may be able to assist you. I don't know of any personally, but a google search should bring up a few.

The property market here - buying, selling or renting is something of a jungle. Beware all agents. You need to be fit, healthy and fairly intelligent to succeed. Luck can also play a big part in how well you do.
