Hello ladies,

I am posting this on behalf of a friend who is suffering from anxiety. Can anyone recommend a good psychiatrist or if any one has had experience dealing with Dr Hany Shafy who sits in Med Clinic Dubai Mall. I was trying to find support groups for anxiety sufferers but i don't think there are any in Dubai. Any recommendation/advise would be welcome.

Doctor sankar Kuchibatla ! He is a uk qualified consultant psychiatrist in Dubai in a clinic "health call" in JLT. Very calm composed man, no rush nothing, takes about an hour for initial assessments and 45 mins for follow ups. Right medicines including good counseling also. Totally a very good experience for me.

That doesn't sound like he's engaging with his patients. Not very helpful especially if you are an anxiety sufferer. May i ask what medication you were prescribed by him? My friend has been asked to take a pill called valdoxan 25mg. Are there any support groups in Dubai for anxiety sufferers?
