I have my son who’s 5 years old, and had a seizure for the first time 2 months ago. He was having a high fever with H1N1 virus. We rushed him to the hospital and second day they have done an EEG for him which showed abnormalities. Then one month after that, they did an EEG for him while sleeping and again showed abnormalities. Now he’s on medication. The doctor recommended to start him a medicine which we started one week ago (Trileptal).
Am worried, did I rush the medication. Did I have to wait until another seizure happens to decide on the medication. Anyone had similar experience to share with me??? Thanks
