Rental dispute advice
Long story we had a rental contract under our name in Dubai. We informed the landlord mid to late July we will not renew our contract which end mid November.
Upon vacating the premises 10 days in advance we reached out to the landlords to inspect and collect the keys after numerous messages and emails he failed to meet us. We filed a complaint with the relevant authorities (RERA) to hand over the keys. The we had a court hearing and the judge will make a decision in a weeks time. We have submitted all the communication between the landlord and ourselves. We without a doubt followed all legal proceeding in informing him of our intentions not to renew our contract. My question is if the court rules against us is it possible to rebutt the ruling. In other words can we apply again for it to be looked into further more. What are our options ??? Furthermore we paid and disconnected DEWA 10days in advance as well we have no outstanding fees or fines and we always paid our rent on time in cash.
