Have you tried phoning RERA to ask them these questions? You can just phone them up - the number I have is 042030241. They have a comprehensive web site.
Ladies,
I need to file a complaint against my landlord! I've spent over 10k on AC & water pump repairs and he doesn't reimburse me!
Some details:
- He is responsible for those costs according to the contract!
- He was sent the quotations and agreed on email that we pay and he reimburse!
- He plays games since then by not picking up his phone and not answering messages!
- The rent contract is between him & the company my husband works for.
- He got the one year rental cheque 3 months back!
How it works with RERA since he lives in the UK : what happens if he does not show up at the hearing, what happens if we win but he does not pay, etc...
