Have a few friends who used to play for the Exiles, varied ages and levels and seems to have a really good social scene. They have a few gala dinners aswell throughout the year involving other clubs etc. The Cristina Nobel Charity dinner in December is always attended by about 2000 people. I think its a great way to get involved in the social side of Dubai - tell your DH to go for it!

There are a lot of clubs and some have a Vet section (depending on your DH's age) - the most established are Hurricanes, Exiles, Dubai Dragons. There are also smaller or newer teams as well TOA dubai, Dubai Wasps, Dubai Frogs, Arabian potbellies... if you go onto www.gulfrugby.com you should see the entire rugby scene...
